Caught the show at the Buffalo Irish Center, January 2010. What a great time. The music was awesome and the guys from the band were super nice. Hope you guys get more bookings in the Buffalo area. Maybe the hooley at the Erie County Fairgrounds in August. Irish Center again???? Can't wait.

Hello, Marie! That is one of our most common questions...actually the name Kilrush came from Dr. Tim Madigan, one of the band's original members. Tim's family is from Kilrush...and it holds a special place in the hearts of the whole family...go ahead throw a stone over a stone wall in Kilrush...you'll likely hit a Madigan with it!! Went to see Kilrush this evening and had a great time!!!! Could have been better with alittle beer , right? To those who know what I'm talking about.
