Based out of Upstate N.Y., Kilrush is a high energy band featuring dynamic and versatile musicians from a wide variety of background. Bringing diverse musical backgrounds together, they have formed an upbeat brand of rockin' music they have dubbed, "Celtic Fusion". Each performance is not just to be seen or heard, but to be experienced.
For the past decade Kilrush has become a staple across New York State and beyond, taking the stage at some of the largest festivals in the northeast including The Great American Irish Festival, Irish 2000, the Hooley on the Hudson and many more. From Buffalo to The Big Apple, Kilrush has been winning over crowds of listeners young and old who they think of not only as "fans", but friends. Indeed, they are known for being a warm and friendly group both on and offstage, and can be found between sets and after every show mingling and sharing a laugh with those in the crowd.
